Meet Dr. Weinberg
Registered Psychologist
I am a Registered Psychologist with a PhD from the University of British Columbia. I have been in mental health practice since 1998.
During this time, I have helped patients presenting with a large variety of issues through difficult periods in their lives. By providing clarity, hope and practical help to people, I have been able to shift lives in a positive direction. As a Scientist-Practitioner, I am dedicated to evidence-based therapy. I keep abreast of recent advances in the scientific literature and regularly update my training so I can offer treatments that really help.

What to Expect from Therapy
Therapy starts with understanding what is getting in the way and deciding what would make a meaningful difference in daily life. Together, we set practical goals and choose an approach that fits your needs.
Depending on the concern, our work may draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), DBT-informed skills, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and other evidence-based approaches.
Progress is individual. Some people notice useful changes early, while more complex or longstanding patterns usually require consistent work over time. We will review what is helping and adjust the plan as needed.
I provide individual and couples therapy for anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, autism-related concerns, relationship difficulties, and functional neurological symptoms.
