Meet Dr. Mark Weinberg

I am a Registered Psychologist with a PhD from the University of British Columbia. I have been in mental health practice for over 20 years. During this time, I have helped patients presenting with a large variety of issues through difficult periods in their lives. By providing clarity, hope and practical help to people, I have been able to shift lives in a positive direction. As a Scientist-Practitioner, I am dedicated to evidence-based therapy. I keep abreast of recent advances in the scientific literature and regularly update my training so I can offer treatments that really help.

 

 

I have unique knowledge and experience in providing treatment to people living with Autism Spectrum disorder (ASD), OCD and ADHD using CBT therapy. As well, I have successfully helped people living with Self-Harm, Borderline Personality Disorders, Learning Disabilities, Anxiety, Depression,  Phobias, and many other mental health conditions.

I have researched the best methods to help patients who Self Harm (cut) and have not only helped people living with Self-Harm, but have taught courses on self-harm to other professionals. I have taught Psychology at the University of British Columbia, the Justice Institute of BC, and the Adler School of Professional Psychology.
