Are these symptoms holding you back from reaching your full potential?  It’s possible to turn these challenges into opportunities for growth. The first step is getting a professional assessment.

Three Levels of ADHD Assessment

If you are wondering if ADHD is a problem for you, this the first step.

This is a focused clinical screening appointment. It includes a clinical session, and standardized screening questionaires, followed by verbal feedback and practical recommendations.

It does not include a written report. If you decide that you would like to do the full assessment, the fee for this screening will be applied as a discount.

This assessment is for adults seeking a comprehensive ADHD assessment and report for diagnostic clarification, treatment planning, medication discussions with a medical provider, or documentation of functional impairment.

The assessment includes:

  • a clinical interview

  • developmental history

  • standardized, research-validated assessment tools.

  • informant input where useful

  • differential diagnostic consideration

  • a written report

  • a feedback session to discuss findings and recommendations.

This option is best suited when the primary clinical question is whether ADHD is present and how ADHD-related difficulties are affecting functioning at work, school, home, or in relationships.

The final report summarizes the assessment findings and provides practical recommendations for treatment, accommodations, and next steps where appropriate. Physicans, schools, employers etc may have specific documentation requirements so please check this so that the report can be tailored appropriately

This broader assessment is for adults whose concerns are more complex than ADHD alone. It is appropriate when ADHD may be part of the picture, but other mental health factors also need to be considered.

The assessment may include consideration of ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma-related symptoms, autistic traits, burnout, emotional regulation difficulties, and other factors that can affect attention, motivation, mood, behaviour, and functioning.

This option is useful when the goal is not simply to answer “Do I have ADHD?” but to understand the broader clinical picture. Many conditions can look like ADHD or occur alongside ADHD. A broader assessment helps clarify what is most likely driving the difficulties and what type of intervention is most likely to help.

The assessment includes everything comprehensive ADHD testing along plus extra testing, an expanded report and broader clinical session.

Why Choose My ADHD Assessment Services?

I’m a Registered Psychologist in British Columbia, committed to providing high-quality testing at reasonable prices. Unlike many non-psychologist services, my assessments include cognitive measures—a crucial part of accurately identifying true ADHD. This matters because other issues, such as anxiety, depression, lack of sleep, and various mental health conditions, can mimic ADHD. Properly distinguishing ADHD from these conditions requires a careful review of your symptoms and medical history, along with rigorous testing.

My goal is to ensure you receive an accurate diagnosis at the most affordable rate possible, so you can move forward with the right treatment strategies and unlock your full potential.
